For sale is a 2nd edition copy of "The Spirit of Masonry" printed in Carlisle, London by F. Jollie in 1795. This book appeared for the first time in 1775 It is very rare at the time of 1795, as in most copies the date was changed in 1796, then in 1797 it is one initial feedback Masonic to address religious, spiritual and philosophical questions. Hutchinson also marks the debut of the Masonic intellectualism. It also examines the relationship of masonry with the ancient mysteries of antiquity. I have also been told this is the first publication that featured a pentacle in a Masonic book which is rare to see, it at all. The book is 362 pages.
