This item is from the Emmett Kelly, Jr. Signature Collection from Flambro Imports and is named SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS VIII. It is from the "full size" series and is approximately 9 3/4" tall, 9" wide and 6" deep. The wooden base has a brass nameplate stating SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS VIII and Emmett Kelly, Jr. The oval base is 10 1/4" by 7 1/4". Santa/Emmett is racing down the hill on a Flexible Flyer sled with his young friend hanging on for dear life. This auction includes the figure, the wood base, and the box with packing materials - all in like new condition. Spirit of Christmas VIII was issued in 1991 at a price of $250. The JCPenney price tag is still on the box. It is shown on an internet price guide with a current value of $250 to $375. This piece is made of fine quality, hand-painted, bisque porcelain and carries serial #2960 of 3500. It has never been displayed (I had two of them), and would add holiday spirit to anyone's living room. Shipping and Handling is a flat fee of $15.00 for U.S. mailing and $20.00 for Canadian mailing.
