This is not an old item but rather a nearly new and fully operational field telephone made to resemble the type of telephone that may have been used when Charles Lindberg made his historic flight from New York to Paris on May 21, 1927. It is a fully functioning telephone, with speaker phone, memory, redial, store, flash features and a clock. It has toggle switches for the speaker phone and the ringer light. It also has dials for speaker volume and ringer volume. It is housed in a beautifully crafted wood case with chrome trim, a black plastic handle and an elegant engine-turned metal panel on the top. The dimensions are 12" long, 8.5" wide and 5" high. Shipping weight is approximately 9 pounds. A real beauty!
