The stone was delicately cut, pierced, and polished to obtain the beautiful shape. A wonderful desert patina embellishes this ancient adornment . No damage, very well preserved . Fine collector's bead ! Origin : Found in the Western Sahara desert, Africa. Dating, hominid : This bead belongs to the Neolithic Culture, circa 5 000 years ago, and was conceived by Homo Sapiens Sapiens.
