For your consideration is a very nice, older, handled, shallow oval bowl by Spode. It is part of the "Spodes Tower" pattern and is blue with a gadroon edge except on the handles. It is about 10" long by 7 3/8" wide by 1.25" deep. It is in excellent condition for its age (which I can't determine), but does have a chip on the edge of the handle and some crazing, but with those exceptions ther are no other chips, cracks or repairs. There is no number, but in addition to the blue backstamp which identifies it as Copeland England, Spodes Tower, inside an oval, there is an insciribed mark which appears to say England. I would welcome any info any of you would care to share. This is a beautiful piece, don't miss out!
