1915 Railroad Map
Up for bids is this genuine antique map of the "Northern Pacific Railway Line in Idaho and Washington" ...portion of line between Oden, ID and Spokane. This wonderful colormap was published in a 1915 Government Guide to the Northern Pacific Route to Seattle. Total sheet measures 14" by 9" and the map itself is 8" by 8".
This is a super map, with brown topographic contour lines at 200 feet, geological features in red, rivers and towns, and all rail stops on this section of line...Oden, Kootenai, Sandpoint, Lignite, Algoma, Westmond, Cocolalla, Careywood, Granite, Athol, Ramsey, Rathdrum, Hauser, Moab WA, Otis, Velox, Irvin, Parkwater and Spokane. Also shown are other area NP branches, plus the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul line between Spokane and Coeur D'Alene, plus the Spokane International from Spokane to Bayview on the south end of Pend Oreille Lake, also the S & I E (Spokane & Inland Empire?) to Hayden Lake, and the I & W N (Idaho & Washington Northern?) to Spirit Lake and Blanchard. An excellent addition to your genealogical or historical display.
