This is SpongeBob from one of his happier moments. He is on the Bus after having Spent the day at Glove World. As with all our artwork, the piece comes with a COA as well as the printed background . Two things have happened recently that affect the value of SpongeBob production artwork. The first is that Nickelodeon has stopped selling the pieces and the largest seller of SpongeBob production artwork stopped selling all their artwork earlier this year. Because this happened the supply of SpongeBob artwork will dry up and it will be virtually impossible to find it and anywhere near the prices you can find here. Remember that SpongeBob is one of the most popular cartoons of recent times, and although it has been on the air for 13 years only one of those years did they hand make the cels. They went to computer the 2nd year. So there are only 41 episodes of SpongeBob production art out there. Only 15 hours of SpongeBob cels were made. Most cels were thrown away, so there are probably less than 4000 pieces that are being traded among collectors. We have the best still available, but soon those will be gone.
