You are bidding on a very scarce Springfield Armory model 1880 hunting knife with an early serial number of 993. The spear point blade measures 8 3/4" and features a brass hilt and wooden handle. The handle is all intact and in good condition. The blade could use a good cleaning, but I will leave that to the new owner. The sheath is made of leather and brass, but is missing its belt hook. It also has some deterioration at the tip of the sheath. This is a no reserve auction, so don't miss a chance to add this historical US Springfield knife to your collection.
