This auction is for a Springfield Model 1905 Bayonet dated 1916 (one of the smallest production runs). This bayonet no doubt re-issued for WW2, as many were with upgraded plastic handles. Original wood set is also included in this auction. Bayonet is in good to very good condition, with no chips in blade. T are some very very minor grind/file marks present. Can be used on any 1903 series rifle and M-1 Garands. M3 scabbard is in very good condition, NOT reproduction. No cracks or chips, has been repainted at some time in its history. A nice addition to your militaria collection. SA 16" bayonets and scabbards are getting hard to find. Bidder of this item certifies that he/she is 21 years of age or older.
