This auction contains an incredibly rare (and possibly unique) piece of early memorabilia from rock & roll superstar BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN. This is an original pressing of his FIRST album "Greetings From Asbury Park N.J." which was personally autographed (HAND SIGNED) on the cover in 1973 by Springsteen. This album was released on January 5, 1973. Soon tafter, Springsteen did an "in-store" record signing at a small record store called "C. Jay's Record Shop" in Asbury Park, w he was living at the time. This record store was across the street from the legendary "UPSTAGE CLUB", w Bruce often played from 1969 until it closed in 1971. This in-store is well known to serious Springsteen fans, and it is mentioned in the popular book "Rock & Roll Tour Of The Jersey Shore" (page 116). No signed records from that appearance have ever surfaced... UNTIL NOW. This album was signed by Bruce at that appearance on the cover as follows: "From Asbury Park with Love - Bruce Springsteen". This is the ULTRA RARE form of his autograph, neatly written with every letter included. Soon his fame would grow and his autographs became much different and much sloppier. On the back of the record t is a sticker "C. Jay's Record Shop, 711 Cookman Ave., Asbury Park N.J." (see scans). ALSO INCLUDED is a VERY rare original 1973 "Bruce Springsteen Fact Sheet" (8x10") issued by Columbia Records which describes their new artist and the songs on this album. The original vinyl record is also included. In fine condition with some expected wear (again, please see the scans). A great addition toany Bruce memorabilia collection. Most importantly, it comeswith a "Letter of Authenticity" from the internationally renown Springsteen memorabilia expert Billy Smith, who co-owned "The Asbury Park Rock & Roll Museum". His current business is "Walls of Fame", respected Charter Members of the exclusive "IADA" (International Autograph Dealers Alliance), the "UACC Registered Autograph Dealers", the "IACC", the "UACC", and "The Manuscript Society". PAYMENT: NO Paypal -- Money orders, Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express accepted directly (again...NO PAYPAL). SHIPPING IS FREE. Florida residents must add sales tax. Payment is due within ten days of the auction's closing. Please check my feedback with over TWENTY TWO HUNDRED (2,215+) positives and 100% satisfied customers in TEN YEARS on eBay. And please see my other auctions for more AUTHENTIC autographed memorabilia with LOW opening bids!! Thank you.
