Return address is in Costa Mesa, California. Postmark date is October 28. 1977.At this time John W. Burgess was the the curator of the Briggs Cunningham Museum in Costa Mesa. He also wrote the text for Connoisseurs Choice - Racing, Sports & Touring Cars , which is a book about the cars in the Cunningham Museum.This item is in Mint condition. The 13" x 10" prints have never been displayed and seldom looked at.One sheet has a "Foreword" on one side and "About The Paintings" on the other."This folio of racing prints was made from original watercolor paintings by John W. Burgess, presently the curator for the Briggs Cunningham Automotive Museum in Costa Mesa, California.
