Named for its principal function, the ASSIST is for professionals who rely on knives to work in extremes. The spyderEdge blade eats seatbelts and fibrous materials with a plain edge tip for concise cutting. Wavy pattern on the blase spine and inside the handle let you position rope between the half open blade and handle then scissor shut; safely severing cord without fully opening the blade. Squeezing the closed blade into the handle exposes a glass breaking retractable carbide tip. High pitched survival whistle in the handle. Patented blunt-tipped blade.
