This is an early model Spyderco C36GS Military from around 1997. I believe this is a transition model as the belt clip is the newer three screw design but the blade is from the original, first model, with the grooved choil. Knife is 5 ½" long closed with an approximate 4" blade. Opened length is 9 ½". Scales are made of premium G-10 to optimize temperature and are resistant to chemicals and impact. These handles are very strong yet very light in weight. The stainless steel blade is made from ATS-34 steel, and was the first steel used in this model when it was first introduced in 1996. Blade has the signature SpyderEdge, super sharp serrations for great cutting power, and is razor sharp. Blade is diamond etched "Spyderco Military ATS-34 Golden Colorado USA". Knife features a Walker linerlock, and blade has extra large finger hole for easier opening with a gloved hand. The knife has a thin profile and is light in weight which makes carrying this large knife much easier. I have always read great things about the Spyderco Military, and after handling this one, I know why they are so popular. The ergonomic handle fits perfectly in the hand. This knife is in new, mint condition and comes in factory box. T was no paperwork with this one. This is a fairly rare find and mint condition Spyderco's this old are hard to come by. Note: Must be at least 18 to purchase knives. The knife you see in the photo is the one you will receive. I inspect each item I sell before shipment to insure you only get the best, and describe all of my items accurately and honestly. You can always bid with confidence on anything I offer.
