Spyderco Chinook Model Knife Spyderco James A. Keating model C63 'Chinook' folding knife. 3 3/4" bright plain edge blade of CPM 440V stainless steel, with an overall length of 8 9/16" opened. James A. Keating is a Master-At-Arms and acclaimed knife designer joined forces with Spyderco several years ago to develop a knife called the Chinook. Lock strength requirements are higher for an outdoor or martial arts folder so the Chinook back-lock is the thickest found on any Spyderco folder. The G-10 handle blankets a pair of full-length steel liners nested inside which are skeletonized for strength without more weight. A four-way clip carries tip-up or down and left or right-handed for several draw options. This knife is perfectly straight and opens freely with a strong " Made in Golden, Colorado USA.
