This is one of the increasingly sought-after Pro-Tone Squier Strats made by Cort in Korea as part of the general upgrading of the Squier range when Joe Carducci took over in the mid-90s. (This saw the creation of the Japanese 'Vista' Squiers and upgrades to the Standard Squiers also) They started in 1996 but ceased production only two years later apparently because the quality was so good that they were hitting sales of Mexican and even US-made Fenders. This is one of the two more 'vintage' style Strats in the range in Olympic White (with matching headstock) and red shell pickguard. The spec. was solid ash bodies, alnico pickups, 'big block' tremolo with steel saddles and 'Gotoh' style tuners. This example is in very good condition with only some very minor scratches and tiny blemishes and virtually no fret wear. There is plenty of information on this range of guitars on the web. Can deliver free in the Gloucestershire/West Midlands area. N.B. Cash on collection/delivery
