ITEM & DESCRIPTION: WOW!!! Have you ever seen anything like this??? I haven't. I felt originally that the couple were Weil Ware because of their coloring and the art on them. However, in searching for verification I found the same man with another lady made by S-Quire in the 1940's. They could be either or someone else entirely, but I do believe it is one of the two. The couple are standing separate and are not attached to each other. They are standing on a brass base that has a floral design all the way around it. The lamp has been rewired, so it does work and you should have no safety concerns with the piece. The finial has been turned down in the picture in order to get a closer picture. It is made out of some sort of plastic of the period. It is a cream color. The lamp rod will be removed for shipping. It only requires putting the nut back on to have it back in one piece. The shade was falling apart when we found the lamp, so it was discarded. You will have the chance to pick out your own when you own this beauty. MARKINGS: No visible markings. We do not want to dismantle the lamp looking for information that may not be t Items going to be turned into lamps may not have even been marked. MEASUREMENTS: The overall lamp is 26 1/2" tall.
