Lake Superior Agate From my own collection, an extremely rare Lake Superior Agate Geode!!! This half-pounder (7.4 oz) is one of the very, very few LS geodes I've ever had. The hollow cavity in this agate is filled with perfectly terminated quartz crystals. In addition, t is an excellent fortification pattern of candy colored, red-orange and white bands exposed on one side of the stone. I can't emphasize enough just how rare this agate is in the realm of the Lake Superior Agate!
