Condition of Item: Good condition, light age dirt, some of the words on the copy pages hard to read - please see image file. 3. Identification: John T Lloyd SSU #12 4. Other Information: Up for auction is a duplicate set of original photographs of an American who volunteered to drive an ambulance before the United States entered World War 1. The group consist of 2 studio photographs, and copies of the drivers story cut from The magazine which was printed during the war. The soldier drove with S.S.U. #12. The soldier name was John T. Lloyd. There are two studio photographs of John in his Ambulance uniform. The two studio photographs were taken by The Robinson in Ithaca, New York. The large photo measures 3 ½” x 5 ½” (inside the window of the paper frame) the paper frame measures 6” x 10” and the smaller images 4” x 9 ¾”. Image s are in good condition – please see image files. The copy "scrapbook" are copy pages of articles which were cut out of “The Enquirer’s” and glued into this scrapbook. The inside cover reads “Note book of J.T. Lloyd written while serving at Verdun, Dead Man’s Hill and Avocourt Woods”. The copies measures 8 ½” x 11” and is 13 pages of writing read more
