Lisa Wildfeuer This piece entitled , "Aix-En-Provence", portrays this sun drenched southern french town. The size of the painting is 22" x 28" and is oil on canvas. Frame is not included. I am the artist and I am selling my work here on ebay. I show in galleries throughout the Los Angeles area. I hope you enjoy. About my art: My art is a visual expression of my passion for traveling and my eagerness to share what I’ve experienced with my community back here in Los Angeles. My paintings are informed by the multi-cultural city in which I live, a place where my artistic ambitions were formed, a city that has inspired me to travel extensively and express my itinerant experiences through art. Familiar/unfamiliar landmarks, scenic vistas and international cuisine are my frequent subjects. Behind every painting, I try to capture an expression of that particular milieu in time, an attempt to reveal fragments of my travels, images I’ve gathered through photographs and personal impressions. Stylistically, my work bucks the current trend with a more representational approach, a way for me to reconcile both the contemporary and abstract works that I most admire , g iving the viewer a chance to rediscover each artist with a new palate.
