Up for auction is a beautiful and very rare gilt locket reliquary containing a relic of St. Pope Pius X. The locket measures approximately 1 ¼" in diameter and still sealed with the red wax seal of a Cardinal. The threads are intact. Inside, surrounded by a gold spiral decoration is a first class relic (hair) of St. Pope Pius X. It has a small clasp which allows it to be used as a necklace. Also, included in this auction is a dated (October 19, 1954) and what appears to be an official document (DISCIPLINA PACIS) with the following information: D. ALBERTUS PARENTI. O.S.B.V Postulator Causae Canonizationis S. PII DECIMI SUMMI PONTIFICIS It has a stamp stating: POSTULATOR CAUSAE S. PII PP. X X in purple.
