Offered are 5 wonderful luncheon plates of Staffordshire Brown Transferware. The pattern name is Hawthorn and was made between 1876-1883 by TG&F Booth. The design has a dragonfly, ferns , various grasses and hawthorn. The plates are about 8 inches in diameter. The condition of these plates are Very Good. No cracks, but one plate has a very small chip on the under edge of the plate. All the plates have some flaws in the glaze that happened at time of manufacturing. T is age crackling in all the plates, that does not effect the beauty or use of these beautiful pieces. These have been in my collection for quite a number of years and have set many pretty tables.
