Description Rare Piece of 19th Century English Staffordshire bust of Bonaparte Napoleon surely would be a great addition to your collection. The detail of piece is incredible. Marked "Bonaparte" on the back. The bust is in two pieces. Mnay years ago for the fun of it, I took is to the Antique Road Show in Miami, and one of the appraisers said at auction- they would of given the bust a $1500.00 - $2000.00 if it was in pristine condition. Sadly to say, Napoleon has had a rough life. The bust measures 10" inches (25cm) in height, 6 1/4 inches in width at the shoulders, 2 3/8 inches (6cm) in width at the base. Condition Overall condition the bust is fair. If you have a competent restorer, you surely have a winner. I am sure it was damaged many years ago. Looking at the piece closely, you cannot see any glue residue. The damage is constricted to the torso, as is apparent by the spider web look. T is a chip on the rear right shoulder. The base and head of the piece are fine. The screw on the bottom is rusted. Payment& Shipping Paypal, moneyorder, cashiers, business or personal checks accepted as payment.
