Rare find. Flow blue Staffordshire teapot in the Chapoo pattern by John Wedge Wood c 1850. As close to mint as you will ever find. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. No nicks to any rims (inside or out) No nicks period. Glaze is very shiny and unscratched. The only thing holding it back from being some kind of museum piece is a hairline radiating across three panels on the foot (see photo). Does not go through to inside. Unused condition. Lid is original pattern and has the steam hole. 9" to top of finial. I have a huge collection of flow blue I am going to sell starting this week. If you are a serious Staffordshire or flow blue collector this will be a great opportunity to add to your collection. Please watch my other auction.
