This is a very old and interesting book,Staffordshire General and Commercial Directory for 1818, quite aged but complete with map at front , some old tape has been used on it years ago to hold the cover on,it is all together but comes almost apart between pages clxxxii and clxxxiii, this is Part Third containing the towns of Bilston, Walsall, Wednesbury,Wolverhampton and the whole of the populous District comprised in the South of the County of Stafford,Presenting an Alphabetical list of the Merchants Manufacturers, and Inhabitants in general, this little old book is a must for family historians, who,s family was in or around these areas in 1818. also some info about some of the villages of Stafford, and people.
