A wonderful early pearlware teapot in the Chinese House pattern. It is a substantial size measuring 7 3/4" high and 10 1/2" spout to handle. It displays beautifully with a repair to the very tip of the spout just on the bottom lip and a section of the rim of the lid. No hairlines and nice and clean. The decoration is nice and defined and the rim border of the pot is a little smudged on the curved surface. It's not too often that you see the teapots and this one is in very nice shape.
