Up for auction is a beautiful "Gipsy" pattern tea pot. This is a wonderful pattern! It features a family of three gatd around a campfire. A tripod over the fire holds a large pot. T is a covered wagon and a town in the distance. Circa 1840-50. The maker of "Gipsy" pattern transferware is not identified. TEAPOT DIMENSIONS: bottom of pot to top of lid, appox. 9" teapot holds approx. 7 cups of water I am not an expert in this area, but this teapot appears to be in very good condition for its age. T is a barely visable "bruise"? at base of teapot (see last close-up photo). I really do not know what it is - could be an old repair. Small crack in glaze on the inside of teapot bottom which is not significant. No chips. I have described every fault I could find, no matter how minor, to the best of my ability. This teapot is really very nice. You will love it!! Please be sure to check out all my photos! Please contact me with any questions PRIOR to bidding. Buyer responsible for purchasing insurance. All sales final . ALL PAYMENTS DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS THANK YOU!
