This is a W H Grindley Staffordshire tea pot and waste these two pieces are dated January 7, 1882 as can be seen by the date marking on the bottom. these two pieces are not perfect t are chips to them please see pictures. the tea pot has two chips one on the spout and one on the rim of the top of the tea pot. the waste has a chip on the top edge. see pictures I do not want t to be any surprises. This is a great set for those of you who would like to display them and do not want to pay the higher price for a perfect one. Finding pieces of this age alone is a true find. These two pieces would be priced as is at a shop for a high dollar amount. pieces of this age are the true meaning of antiques. This is history. Please email question.
