You are bidding on one Stag Handle Case XX knife pattern 5424 SSP This knife was never carried Handle is free from chips or cracksBlades are in great condition- Case is printed on one blade in red inkBolsters can use a cleaning and polishing and have a couple of very small spots of corrosion on them- see picturesTang is stamped with Case (smooth s) XX Stainless USA and t are 2 dots This knife belonged to my father and came from his hardware store collection. My dad worked in his family hardware store for over 40 years. He was a good man a hero in all senses of the word. He worked hard to make his community and his country a better place. He employed people who needed a second chance- or just a chance period. He made sure that those in need received help even if it meant that he had to give of his time and money. His life ended when he was fatally shot in that hardware store. An armed man entered the store demanding money from my grandmother (a woman in her 80's) and she screamed. My father came to her side, and he was killed while saving her life. My sister and I commented that his last breath was right in front of that Case knife display. I am learning about knives (and I sure am learning A LOT) so I do not know much about these or any other knife- other than what I see.
