âeoe Amber Goldâe From conception to completion; each of my stained glass creations is very special to me. A great deal of thought goes into the design and the selection of glass for my stained glass panels. My work includes styles and designs to please all tastes. Even though I prefer to create my own designs; sometimes a particular pattern (not my own) captures my imagination, and I will apply my own spin on it and run with it. âeoeAmber Goldâe measures 14 1/2 x 16 1/2 inches . This panel features beautiful shades and textures of amber glass in a geometic design. âeoeAmber Goldâe reflects the colors and hues of Autumn. The center of this panel is a beautiful opaque glass that beautifully complements the golden ambers. The one inch border for âeoeAmber Goldâe consists of sections of the same ambers and golds of the design. I assembled each panel using the copper-foil method. Each piece of glass is cut, ground to fit, wrapped in copper-foil, and soldered together. Patina is added to darken and enhance the design the solder lines. The panel is framed in zinc. I drill holes so the piece can be hung safely horizontally or vertically. Lastly, I wax and hand polish the glass to bring out the shine and sparkle of the design. I carefully wrap and pack the panel for safe shipping. Insurance is always included in the shipping cost.
