Hardbound cloth book from the Bhutan Royal P & T Deptt is in excellent condition and in its original box (one end is missing, as shown in picture). Six hard pages display at least eight (page total) stamps in three rows. Two pages display a single stamp which is incorporated into a piece of art. One page shows a sheet of four different stamps commemorating 1979 as the Year of the Child.The final page displays a gorgeous metallic finish air mail piece (perhaps a postcard?).Each page is separated by a protective tissue, included in the binding. There are a few small stains on a couple of the protective sheets; one or two stains have leaked onto the album page, but NONE of the stamps have been affected.Both the box and the book cover have been inscribed by the Bhutanese student who presented this album as a gift to my mother, a teacher who placed exchange students for many years.
