Covers in today's lot 1.cover from Ireland to President Roosevelt, 2. Atlanta Ga airport cover 3. Long Island Rail Road cover all backstamped Roosevelt Collection Stamp and cover lot from the President Roosevelt collection sold in 1946. President Franklin Roosevelt was the most famous stamp accumulator in the United States, after President Roosevelt died the stamps went into his estate, H.R. Harmer sold the stamps in 4 auctions in 1946. Most of his stamps were common , but some of the covers are scarce today. I will list each Friday an auction of the following, 1 non philatelic stamp, 20 stamps with the H.R. Harmer hand stamp and many stamps are signed on the back, most stamps will be from Russia, Norway, and Australia and a few other countries i noticed some Russia locals in the group and better cataloged Australia, also there will be 2 large pieces of stamps on paper, there are some great items here, Roosevelt got many of his stamps from the State Department, as they got mail from all over the world, and many are high values, all pieces have the H.R. Harmer hand stamp on the front or back, then there will be 1 cover sent to President Roosevelt ( note some of the covers sent to the President are scarce and very desireable) and 2 other covers that was in his collection, there is a total of 26 pieces in each lot and they will be scanned, the start bid will be at $89.00 and will be listed for one week, That is less only $4.00 per item . many of the stamps are not so common today and have catalog value, the real value is historical value, see scans, buyer pays $3.00 postage for US delivery, buyers outside of the US depending on final price may have to pay registration of $12.00, NO SHIPMENT TO UKRAINE, RUSSIA FEDERATION OR SERBIA DUE TO STOLEN MAIL, I CAN NOT TAKE ANY MORE LOSSES ON MAILINGS TO THOSE COUNTRIES, REGISTERED MAIL TO SERBIA IS NOT DEPENDABLE.
