STANDARD DRY ALE, ROCHESTER, N.Y., BEER TAP KNOB 1930s-1950s. Being offered is this one Standard Dry Ale, Rochester, N.Y., ball-style beer tap knob with blue and white enamel plate. It is set into a creamy white Catalin plastic torpedo-style handle. Condition good, never used. The plastic handle has a somewhat dirty look. I didn’t try to clean it. See photos. This is one of a collection of approximately 50 beer tap knobs from a former employee of the manufacturer. They were made at General Products, Providence, Rhode Island. They were found in a closet, mounted to a plywood board. I will be offering them on ebay over the next month or so. Some have a minor scuff or ding, but none were ever used to pour beer. Of the photos posted with this listing, the last photo shows the collection on the board as I found them. Please check out the photos and contact me if you have any questions. Buyer pays shipping costs and actual shipping insurance costs that will be based on winning bid. (A shipping insurance fee of $1.75 for up to $50 value is optional.
