Vintage Standard Oil Of Indiana Reward Sign Own a piece of American Oil Refining History with this oven fired porcelain over heavy gauge steel Reward sign. $1000 reward for apprehension and conviction of a robber or anyone who kills a company employee. $100 for apprehension and conviction of any attempt to rob the company or its employees or Service Stations. $25 for apprehension and conviction of anyone burglarizing or attempting to burglarize a Service Station of the company. Measuring 5 1/4" x 12" this sign was definitely used in a Standard Oil of Indiana office, refinery or service station - it shows wear around the screw holes and some wearing off of the porcelain coating on the bottom (especially right) side of the sign. - my Grandfather worked for Standard Oil for 45 years (in Whiting, IN and Chicago), and my father worked for Standard Oil for 38 years. I'm not going to burglarize anyone with the price, I think the $25 is a fair price for this rather unusual piece of Standard Oil Of Indiana Memorabilia. I just want to pass this on to a collector who will appreciate it as much as I have. Somewhere packed away is my Standard Oil kite I was flying when I was 4 years old...Somewhere...
