An ideal winter project car. It ha s just been M.O.T'd and has the associa ted free 12 months road tax under the historic vehicle taxa tion class. A great little car that starts and runs superbly. There has been several thousand s of pounds spent on this car to get it up to M.O.T. standard. New sills, inner and outer as the last two images show. The car is solid and requires no further welding or plating on the underside. It has had all new brakes including a new master cylinder. Everything works on it as it should. Sadly, the thing that lets it down is the bodywork, there is corrosion bleeding through at the back edges of both front wings as I have shown in the third last image. There is further surface corrosion on most other panels. Ideally, the car could do with a bit of cosmetic preparatory work and a resp ray but for us to do this, it would make the car too dear to sell or buy. I feel that I have advertised this car at a fair price and would suit someone that can do this kin d of work themselves. This car is 57 years old and is now a collectors item, it gets smiles wherever it goes and even if the new owner decided to leav e as is it wouldn't be a problem.
