Pluto Standing Disney Store Display MICKEYâe(tm)S FAITHFUL COMPANION This version of Mickey Mouseâe(tm)s faithful companion stands nearly 28 inches tall from paw to tail top. Standing Pluto has appeared in many different Disney Store scenes. The real leather collar and subtle air brush shading indicates he appeared in the first era of Mickeyâe(tm)s Toy Shoppe Display, alongside Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Morty, and Ferdie. Later versions of Pluto had various other collars including molded and painted collars. Pluto is made of commercial heavy-duty nearly solid fiberglass and is hand painted. The tail and ears are slightly damaged but still very serviceable. They disconnect and connect with molded-in square copper tubing. This figure is being offered direct from one of the countryâe(tm)s largest private collections of Disney Store displays. Notable Items: · Pluto is in excellent condition with very little scuffing and no noticeable flaws (except as noted on his ears and tail connection points). · Ideal figure for displaying next to his master, Mickey Mouse. Pluto is freestanding with no need for supports. · Nearly 30 inches long from nose to tail, this is a very large and impressive figure. · Like all Disney Store display characters, Pluto is considered a rare find. Estimated to have a total initial production of 150, many first-era characters were destroyed per Disney Store closing protocol.
