This beautiful little guy is the Stangl Kingfisher. . He is 3.5" tall. He is marked on the bottom as you can see in the picture. His number is 3406S and he is signed MMF . After some checking and referencing a Stangl Bird website I found that the initials stand for the artist who produced this particular bird and the plant it was made in. It is most likely Margery Miles or Mildred Moody at the Flemington plant. I do not know what year it was made. It also has what appear to be the roman numerals VII on it. The bird is in great condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs that I can find . I presume his coloring is all as it should be.
