For sale is a charming and rare 9"plate made by the famous Stangl pottery of Trenton NJ. It is a "Kiddieware" pattern, designed by Kay Hackett, called Indian Campfire. It is hand carved and hand painted and features two figures around a campfire, with a tent in the background and a yellow-brown rim. There is one scratch or possibly a repair in the rim, around which is some minor staining (please see closeup photo), and fleabites, also some scratching from use. No cracks. The photos will show the condition fairly accurately, the piece is in fairly good shape for an item of this vintage. I only charge for actual shipping and there is no reserve!
