For your bidding pleasure we have a STANLEY # 100 1/2 Squirel Tail Plane in superb condition. The jappening looks to be 100% in tact without scratches or any abrasions.T is no evidence on the sole, or wear anyw else of this plane ever having been put to use.It measures 4 7/8 inches from stem to stern.X. 1 1/4 inches at its widest point. T is a slight discoloration to the unpainted parts.It shows up much darker in the pictures than it really is. It is not rust but a slight patina from exposure to the air over so many years. I have not attempted to do any cleaning whatsoever, it comes to you from a well know cabinet makers workshop in my area.He must not have ever put this plane to use!.I have attempted to show in the pictures ,the radius of the sole. The cutter is marked;STANLEY within a rectangle and MADE IN USA under the logo.I have not taken the cutter out for inspection but it all looks to be very original including the attitude of the person who painted the red paint on the cap. Slightly careless.This is not a slightly used plane, This IS unused.Period. I don't think you would find a more original STANLEY # 100 1/2 than this.It would be a shame to put this little beauty to use. This plane should have a place on the forefront of any plane collection.
