The miter box was repainted with real baked on japanning and is in great shape. The miter saw is a Disston back saw , its 11ppi and is hand jointed sharpened , it is sharp and cuts very well. I repaired the upper horn and oiled and waxed the handle. there is shallow pitting and rust scaring pretty much all over it but none of it affects the performance of the saw, it cuts really nice. Its been filed at 15 degree rake and a 25 degree bevel. The shortness of the saw works well on this model of miter box. Thank you for looking
