Stanley 55 Universal Plane w/ Blades - This is a great set for the tool collector, hobbies or serious woodworker. The plane comes complete with 50 cutters in their original boxes along with both short and long rods as well as the other accessory guides, spurs, and depth stops as shown. The plane has 85% of it original finish with some minor rust. The casting are intact with no chips, cracks or breaks. The Rosewood handles and edge guides are intact and in very good condition. All the screws, clamps and adjustments work smoothly. All of the cutters are in good condition and most have their original factory un-messed with edges. If you want a Stanley 55 plane to use on a daily basis rather than one that sits on a shelf this is the one. Please read the conditions of sale before bidding.
