You are bidding on a Stanley 78, in excellent condition. I have not cleaned or polished this in any way. You will see some saw dust and wood chips in the pictures on the plane. The tightening scew is shiny with no rust, no black paint loss. This plane had very little wear, because t is 50 per cent of the decal that is still on the handle. The colors look to be orange, white and blue. All parts are in excellent condition. Very light tarnishing on the top of the blade but you can read Stanley, has the sweetheart underneath Stanley with SW inscription, made in USA. On the back portion is the word Stanley written with a fancy "S". No 78. The box is in nice shape, with no smashed corners or tears. Information side says Stanley Rule and Level Co., New Britain Conn. USA. You will be hard pressed to find another one in as nice shape and complete as this one.
