For auction: Stanley #97 cabinet maker's edge plane in FINE condition. This plane retains at least 99% of it's bright & shiny japanning. There's some small areas of extremely fine pitting on the base of the plane. That aside, the main casting, including the leading edge, is completely damage-free. The rosewood knob is damage-free as well retaining all of it's original finish. The full length cutting iron is clearly marked, in four lines, STANLEY RULE & LEVEL CO. NEW BRITAIN, CONN. USA.
