Stanley Bailey No 4 1/2 Smoothing Plane - old plane; nearly new iron and chip-breaker cap Plane body is 10 1/4" long by 3" wide - made in England Sole and sides are smooth and in good condition Iron and chip breaker 2 3/8" wide - recent lightly used Stanley USA, sharp and ready to use Small (less than 1/8") chip out of the lower right corner of the cap iron (viewed from the front of the plane) Knurled brass wheel to control depth of cut Fully adjustable frog to set throat clearance Hefty! Weighs 4 lbs 12 oz Handle and knob have been refinished Very tiny paint spatters on the inside of the plane Entirely functionalGood luck bidding!
