Up for auction is a beautiful vintage Stanley Tools 14" bailey jack plane, with a 2" cutter. I have no idea how old the plane is, but it is in great condition and has never been used. T is some rust on the iron surfaces that I have tried to show in the photos, but no scratches, wear, or use marks. I believe that the handle and ball on the front are made from rosewood and are in perfect condition with no scratches or wear marks. The original box is intact but is in poor condition. The plane lever cap is marked "Stanley" on the front and the back has a '5' and a 'U'. The top of the blade is stamped "Stanley Made in USA". All of the adjusting mechanisms work. This plane would make a great addition to someone's collection of vintage tools or would make a great hand tool for a wood-worker.
