This old number 8 has a missing horn on the tote and some wear to the finish but is in solid working condition and ready to go!It measures 24 inches long and over 3 inches wide.The V style trademark and the two 1902 patent dates would make this plane nearly a hundred years old.Being the largest jointer Stanley or anybody else made it is a very desirable to both collectors and users alike.These almost always have cracks or chips in the casting from being dropped , this one doesn't.If you use this plane your arms may end up looking like Popeye!!!!!!It is a real big brute!!!!!!Please check the pictures , ask questions ,and dont forget to look at the shipping calculator BEFORE YOU BID.Check out my other items for more old tools,combine shipping and save!US buyers can fill a flat rate box with all you can fit and pay only $11 shipping,regardless of weight!!!Two sizes,11 x 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 or 11 7/8 x 3 3/8 x 13 5/8.Some International buyers have a flat rate envelope options for items that will fit at $14US.All other must use the shipping calcuator or contact me with other suggestions.I will also hold items over untill you get a box full,dont pay till your box is full!!!!!
