Stanley 605 1/2 C plane. I almost kept this plane - it was a close run between this one the other 605 1/2 I own (that one has a hang hole but is already tuned up). I almost put it back on the shelf three times today. One the other hand I don't need two so here it is.Here is what I know about the plane: No cracks or repairs to any cast iron parts about 70% japanning no cracks, repairs or hunks out of either of the handles. Both need refinishing. Both are nice rosewood and came very close to getting swapped with the ones on my number 6 :-) Keyhole lever cap has no chips or breaks but the nickel plating is wore off in many places blade and chip breaker in good shape No pitting but there is some staining from surface rust. Should clean up nice. No patent dates on bed, no letters under the lever cap, looks like "101" cast into the yoke. Newer type iron, full width of the frog.
