A Stanley block plane with low angle cutter seat of 13.5% and is fully adjustable for depth of cut, cutter alignment and size of mouth, the body is made of fine grey iron. Size is 150mm long and the blade is 35mm wide. This plane is particulary good for end grain and plastic laminates or just ordinarty planing and can be used with one or two hands. This plane has been used a few times by me but blade still has its original ground angle and has only been sharpened on a oil stone, it has spent more time stored on my bench than being used. I have cleaned up the body as it had some rusting otherwise in good condition. I paid about £40 some years ago, so probably would cost more new now. I had a look online and I think this is the STA512060 model which I found priced at £51.67 but there are no markings on plane to identify.
