This is a very clean used automatic spiral, push drill w/ 8 different sized drill bits (points) that store in the handle (a full set of drill bits). It is marked "YANKEE HANDYMAN" on the insulated plastic handle, and "STANLEY YANKEE HANDYMAN NO. 46 MADE by STANLEY WORKS (G.B.) LTD SHEFFIELD ENG." on the main shaft. There is a sectional storage compartment inside the industrial plastic handle for drill point storage, and other than the handle this tool is all metal, even the threads on the cap are metal, very well constructed. This model much like the earlier North Brothers No. 45 in size and basic design, having the same chuck, the same size drill points, and about the same amount of push travel. Stanley bought out North Brothers in the mid-1940's. This one is in very good working order, some wear and scratches on the red and blue handle, otherwise very little wear, good spring chuck, no cracks, or rust, most of the plating is still intact. A very nice tool overall, with a nearly indestructible handle!
