This is a Stanley #73 2 ft, 4 fld Carpenters rule. . It has an arch joint and middle plates. Rule is marked with the early Stanley logo. Arch joint rules are a little neater than square joint rules

Rule is in excellent condition. No breaks, chips, etc.. Almost all of the original varnish is still present on this rule. Rule has had very light to no actual use. Both face pins and the edge pin are present. A great example of this rule. The only detraction is "II F" lightly etched on the brass joint on the inside. I had never noticed this before I was examining this rule to list .. This is about as nice an example of this rule as you are likely to find.

My E-Bay philosophy is simple, you are the customer and you decide how you want to handle the deal. I will go along with most anything as long as it is not too outrageous and you keep me informed. If it will be a few days before you get payment to me, no problem, just let me know so I will not worry about it being lost. I do not have any hard and fast time lines on what happens when. Normally I will get the package to the PO the day after I receive payment. If for some reason that will be delayed, I will let you know.

As usual, you pay the shipping, insurance extra if desired. I personally recommend insurance if the item cost more than around $50, but you decide. On most items I sell, I try to estimate the postage cost by USPS Priority Mail (my shipping method) and include that up front so you know exactly what the cost of the item will be. I'm usually within a couple of dollars of the correct cost depending on your zip code. Unless it is too heavy or too large I ship everything by USPS priority mail. Never any crazy handling fees or ridiculous reserves.

PayPal, money orders or checks accepted. Please allow a few days for checks if it is an expensive item. On most items I ship right away. So far all (well, most) of my dealings have been with nice, honest people. (As I would expect) .

I always leave feedback up front, right after you have paid. Some vendors never leave feedback first, they wait till you have left it, that way if you leave bad feedback they can retaliate. I have talked with E-bay about this problem but they always duck the issue. Anyway, I always leave feedback first because I know t will be no problem with my items (or on the rare occasion t is, I will immediately resolve the problem).

My satisfaction policy is also very simple, you are the customer and you decide if you want the item. Satisfaction guaranteed, no exception. Purchase may be returned for any reason or no reason within a week in original condition for a full refund. If it is something I did or failed to do I will also refund the postage. If you just changed your mind or found another one down the street, cheaper or better. I still accept returns except you should pay the postage.
