Cutting iron is clean everyw Side gears are clean. Bottom of flexible metal sole is clean; top has minor surface rusting. Japanning 90% T are no wood parts This tool is in original condition; no refurbishing. Note from the Seller: I have collected tools for many years, but no longer have space for them, so am selling off my collection. The descriptions provided are as accurate as possible, based on John Walter’s Antique and Collectible Stanley Tools (1996) , but I am not infallible and welcome corrections. Although I may clean tools, I never refurbish them or do anything to alter their natural appearance. If it seems that a previous owner has done so, I will indicate that.
